Our Scope
The Twyning STW project is designed to deliver targeted infrastructure upgrades in line with the Water Industry National Environment Programme (WINEP) and support long-term environmental sustainability.
Key elements of the project include:
✔️ New Ferric Sulphate Storage and Dosing Plant for enhanced phosphorus removal
✔️ New Final Effluent Monitoring to ensure regulatory compliance
✔️ Laboratory facilities to support on-site testing and water quality control
✔️ Modifications to the existing Motor Control Centre (MCC) to improve operational integration
Project Progress & Impact
The project is nearing the final stages of detailed design, with Gateway 4 expected shortly.
Site mobilisation is planned for Q2, with construction and commissioning set for completion by year-end.
Once delivered, the upgraded treatment process will help Twyning STW meet future regulatory requirements while enhancing effluent quality and supporting Severn Trent’s Green Recovery goals.
