Pershore STW – AMP8 Q WFD Upgrade
Objective:
To deliver a full design, build, and commissioning programme aimed at improving final effluent quality and ensuring compliance with tightening phosphorus limits as outlined under the Water Framework Directive (WFD) and AMP8 commitments.
Principal Contractor:

Scope of Works:
- New ferric dosing system and chemical delivery area
- New tertiary solids removal (TSR) feed pumping station
- Installation of new TSR plant
- New works return pumping station
- Full cross-site ductwork and pipework installation
Progress Update:
The project is currently in the detailed design phase, progressing to programme. While construction is set to begin shortly, FLI Water has mobilised to site, establishing a welfare setup that will support both Pershore STW and several satellite sites in the surrounding area.
The welfare facilities are being connected and commissioned for power and water, ready to support the upcoming construction phase.
Once complete, the works will significantly improve operational efficiency and effluent quality, helping Severn Trent meet its environmental compliance obligations under AMP8.
