Coaley STW – AMP7 Q WFD Upgrade
Objective:
Deliver a full design, construction, and commissioning package to improve final effluent quality and meet stricter regulatory standards under the AMP7 Water Framework Directive.
Principal Contractor:

Scope of Works:
- New ferric dosing system and chemical delivery area
- New tertiary solids removal (TSR) feed pumping station
- New TSR installation
- Final effluent (FE) interception chamber
- Cross-site ducting and pipework
Progress Update:
The project is currently under construction, with solid progress made across key civil structures.
🔹 Precast concrete installations for the chemical dosing bund and FE weir chamber are well underway.
🔹 The wet well for the TSR pumping station has been installed.
🔹 The MCC slab has been successfully completed.
🔹 The next phase will see the installation of TSR units and cross-site pipework.
