Our Scope
The Lichfield STW project is designed to enhance wastewater treatment capabilities, ensuring compliance with tightening regulatory permits and supporting sustainable water management.
Key components of the project include:
✔️ FLI Water fulfilling roles of Principal Designer and Principal Contractor
✔️ Installation of new manholes and sewers for improved drainage and humus return systems
✔️ Construction of a new humus sludge returns pumping station
✔️ Replacement of the existing storm sewer to enhance site resilience
✔️ New rising main from sludge transfer PS to PST Distribution Chamber
✔️ Final effluent monitoring system for enhanced regulatory tracking
✔️ Supply, installation, and testing of a Reed Bed solution for sustainable wastewater treatment
Project Progress & Next Steps
The project is currently in its early stages, with final site surveys now complete and design revisions from Severn Trent Water underway. FLI Water aims to begin on-site works in February 2025.
This project is another step towards delivering efficient, sustainable, and compliant water treatment solutions for Severn Trent Water.
